About Store:
Drone Nerds is an Authorized DJI Dealer [more info].
It's an okay deal, not a smoking deal especially considering it's refurbished.
The Amazon deal back in October for the new DJI Mavic Air 2 Fly More Combo with DJI Care was significantly better but I doubt we'll see that again until actual price drop from DJI. It was 25% off a brand new unit ($1049 - 25% = $786.75) with the Amazon Prime card. Brand new with DJI Care warranty for $786.75 > refurbished w/o DJI Care for $806.55.
Not sure if it's available to everyone but I had my mavic pro one and mavic air covered through state farm. Cost was 35 dollars a year and there was zero issues when I flew my drone into the water and had to have it replaced
Just want to put this out there for any new drone buyers. I just bought one recently and went on a RV trip in Arizona, Utah and a few other states near there. Legally you are not allowed to fly a drone in any scenic spots (over exaggerating but you get the point, like no national park, near airports, most state parks, etc). So due your research on where you are planning to fly before buying a drone. I ended up flying on scenic pull offs from the road but i wish i could fly in snow canyon, horse shoe bend, etc. But drone wise this is a nice drone. I bought a mavic air 2 and a mavic mini because of the restrictions i decided to keep the mini and return the air 2. Good luck.

FYI in FAQ: The after-sale service policy for DJI refurbished products is identical to that of new products. However, refurbished products can only be exchanged for refurbished products, not new products.
i'm tempted but they are soldout on their dji care refresh and it's better to get them together (if you plan on getting the dji warranty pkg) otherwise it's kind of a pain to get the warranty afterwards with their manual activation steps (you have to flow your drone etc to prove that it isn't broken already etc)

You can always buy the drone and buy dji care after. You only have to go through the video thing if you try and get dji care 48 hours after you have activated/ turned on the drone.

The refresh package can be purchased once you have the drone and set things up, without having to go through any hoops unless you do it from 48 hours past your first flight.
The deal itself is lukewarm, but I'm surprised that the seller itself is not part of the conversation. Drone nerds is the Macy's of the drone world, IMHO. So even before refresh, I'd contact them first to see what they could do considering they have their own in-house repair team. Also, they are super helpful and a plus if a newbie have questions and prefers to speak to a human . Much harder to go these routes with either amazon or dji itself.

Air 2 isn't that much bigger than the mini. Other than having to register it, which takes 5-10 minutes, what other restrictions are you talking about that apply to the Air 2 but not to the mini?
I just purchased from DJI Direct around Christmas Day, $996.55 delivered to my house from China. Includes Refresh and I used a 5% off coupon by subscribing to their e-mail.
For this offer you would have to add Refresh at $79 and possibly tax with shipping for Refurb, not new?

this is somewhat true - but there are options in some places.
for utah, for instance, you do have a per day fee of $10 to fly at most parks. by example: https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks...gulations/
however, this is not the norm at some other places (grand canyon for one)
so yes, there are restrictions - but the takeaway should be is that since you are flying in the airspace as other aircraft, do the research and see what options are available to share the air.

The price difference goes away pretty quickly.
