the regular has good proportions and efficiency. the widemouth is a top heavy and the button gets in the way of drinking. If you are considering the widemouth you might as well go get whatever they have on sale at costco, because you are not getting the perfect zoji design.

the widemouth was designed strictly for the western market in order to fit full size ice cubes, and I think they didnt spend much time on the design.

I actually prefer the wide mouth version as they have stainless steel interiors instead of the non-stick finish.

Bought the smoky blue before Christmas and it is amazing. Coffee still very hot seven hours later. Used to drink a lot more coffee when I had to gulp it down before it got cold. Now 16 oz. lasts me all day. Also nice to micro-dose caffeine all day rather than drink a bunch in the morning, get jittery then crash after lunch. This isn't just a change of mug, it's a change of lifestyle! Well, maybe I'm overstating it, but great mug.

I take the spout apart and rinse it out right after I finish my coffee and haven't noticed any smells sticking to the silicone after a few weeks of daily use.

anyone have an issue with the travel mugs retaining smell?
Especially the inner silicone lid and gasket.
I saw remedies to pop the silicone pieces in the oven for 30 minutes to get rid of the smell and it did but it just comes back after a few days...
Use one strictly for water. Another for coffee.

Paid $27 for the 20oz in June 2016 and have used it daily ever since for water only. Still works great, but I've dropped in a few times and it has some pretty big dents, tempted to pick up one as a backup.

I have two of these. Both started leaking about the hinge. :/ otherwise I think these are indeed great.

I use denture/retainer cleaner tablets to get rid of the smell

BOMB deal. I got mine for like $22 and I use it everyday. I can lock/unlock and open/close with a single hand. I trust it to get thrown in my backpack. I have seen no wear and tear other than from dropping it in over a year of use.

I've never had an issue. When I clean the vessel part I soak the lid and all it's pieces in warm soapy water. After a while I come back and scrub them quick with new warm soapy water, rinse, repeat if necessary. No smell after 1+ year of daily usage.

Good deal. I recently bought one of their rice cookers a few months ago.

And I ordered one of the food containers today.

Anyone know if the flip-n-go tumblers are the same quality as the normal ones? The deal isn't as good, and it seems like the list price is lower than the normal model too
