Why? Most Bluetooth 5.0 devices are showing the same 30ft. range as 4.0, so unless you need low-latency or aptx (in which case you should be looking at better headphones, and I say that owning these) it really shouldn't matter.

Price isn't bad, but do you risk the potential quality issue with Jabra refurbs for a savings of $15?

These should be new. I bought my refurbs from Jabra through Newegg like this posting, and only paid $25, so I would hope these are new for the price difference. My refurbs have worked perfectly so far.

Because BT5.0 need less power, but BT 4.0 and lower eat own battery like wolf eat lamb.

Only in theory. It depends on how the individual manufacturer implements it, and most BT 5.0 headphones do not have that significant of an improvement in battery life. The drivers actually making the sound still draw most of the power.

BT 5.0 is not spaceship technology. Each reliable brand make enough good quality, huge difference in BT 5.0 LE (Low Energy) vs prev.versions. Only in cheap Chinese devices doesn't matter which BT version, same junk.
