I wouldn't put too much into the warranty at all. I think Advanced Auto is the only one to carry TEQ and they can drop it at anytime and say sorry, not something we carry anymore ( I think this is the 3rd change in 10 years, I think it was Autocraft or maybe AMPro, Gearwrench and now TEQ ). I can't even find a TEQ Correct webpage, so once AAP stops carrying them, no warranty.

I can't confirm but I think they are manufactured by Gear Wrench. They do have a lifetime warranty also.

They're made under contract by Apex Tool Group, which owns Gear Wrench. As far as I know they are made in their Chinese plants as opposed to the Taiwan based plants that GW is made in. It's the same with the newer Duralast stuff at Autozone, made in Apex's Chinese plants under contract.

As for the warranty, it says limited lifetime, so that could cover anywhere from just manufacturers defects to something less than "no questions asked" replacement. If I had to hazard a guess things like deep pitting rust or clear abuse and misuse would be denied (no cheater bars guys)

In that you are correct, no one else carries TEQ Correct and TEQ Correct Pro tools, they are the different lines of AAP house brands: my local store has started replacing AutoCraft tools with TEQ Correct, and GearWrench with TEQ Correct Pro. As of a couple months ago they had a mix of AutoCraft and TEQ in the tools aisle, and a mix of TEQ Pro with GW behind the counters.
The only place to buy TEQ is AAP, and the only place to warranty TEQ is AAP. How long they maintain TEQ is anybody's guess, I don't really see that average person going into AAP and needing to buy a wrench or socket is going to be going out of their way to preferentially buy anything other than what's available, It winds up giving AAP the ability to drop Apex as the OEM manufacturer and shop around to SBD, Great Neck, or someone else and still keep the TEQ product lines.
