From what I can tell, Mario Kart Tour doesn't work with a controller unless you use one of those Chinese brand controllers that emulate touchscreen taps, and even then I'm not sure it works on iOS.

If you want to double check and make sure your controller works, there are a few sites that list all MFi compatible games. I like controller(dot)wtf, since it seems to be the most up to date. If you want to play Mario Kart with a controller, you can always use an SNES emulator, but they're a bit finicky to set up.

Hypothetically you can open this up keep the headphones and no receipt return the gamepad for $100 at target. 2 retail products in the box and at Walmart, it does not ask you to scan the serial numbers for sale.

Not necessarily. I just found out about it yesterday, checked Brickseek and found a bunch around me (Indianapolis). Went to the closest store that showed stock and found that their inventory was pretty close to what Brickseek indicated. I scored one for myself and two for friends.

For everyone asking where they're located: At the store I went to, they were in the locked case containing console games and equipment.
