Long time lurker, but as someone who ordered a very similar build PC during Black Friday, I thought I'd give people a heads up.

Expect MASSIVE wait/delay times. I know the website says they'll probably ship in February, but there's still a ton of people waiting in queues for their PCs from late November (including me). Yes, I understand that this is mostly due to Ryzen 5000x and RTX 3000 series GPUs shortages.

If you ever want to change/cancel an order, know that you'll have a ton of trouble reaching their customer service, as their lines are busy all day. The few times I've tried calling, I was put on hold for over 2 hours each time. If you check ibuypower's subreddit, you'll find a lot of angry people because they're unable to get in touch with IBP.

With that said, if you don't mind waiting a month (probably two), I hear their build quality is fine. The reason I ordered is so that I could get a new build with a new ryzen 5000 chip and RTX 3000 without having the headache of trying to find it in stock online anywhere.
Yes it is. But as you know there are some trolls and haters here. The moment I posted the deal, it started getting Thumbs Down by those. Thanks for showing your support and giving the proper voting.
The full MSRP of this PC is cheaper than scalper prices for a standalone RTX 3070

Does new consoles do warzone at 4k 120
Not Warzone no. The new Xbox can do 1440p @ 120fps.

The Xbox can also do some 4k games at 120 FPS but I don't think Warzone.

Are you already doing video editing? What machine are you using for it?

More cores faster its gonna work for editing. 5800x 8 core is $188 more after 5% off and 5900x 12 core is $273 more. But i would upgrade to 240mm cooler for $11 more.

Would it make sense for me to upgrade the CPU to the 5800 and drop the GPU to the 2080 super?

This machine is plenty imo, you could try to find a cheaper machine with a lower end video card but a similar or better CPU, and at least 16gb RAM. EDIT: To above question, he doesn't even really need a 2080 super if the main focus is video editing.

CPU+Ram is usually the most important for video editing, not sure how much GPU is involved with it, but I would put one in the machine.

The faster and more core CPU and more RAM generally means rendering video takes less time, but at this level for non professional use I'd say it's overkill at least.

Yeah for editing.

5800x 8 core and 2080 Super is $1309 with 240mm cooler or $1298 with 120mm with more cores want more cooling.

5900x 12 core is only $86 more $1394 with 240mm cooler.

AeroCool Cylon RGB Gaming Case is cheapest case you can get on the config page.

In terms of configuration, should I choose the **Certified Major Brand Gaming Memory [Free Upgrade to 32GB DDR4-3200 XPG D41 RGB]**

or go with the ADATA XPG SPECTRIX D41 (RGB LED) at the same price?

Also is it really worth going for a name brand 3070 or upgrading motherboard?

What about the sound dampening foam?

I agree this is the main thing to consider. If they do then the deal is nothing else but giving a free loan to somebody.

Also, what was the expected ship time at the time of the November order? Before or after today? That would be telling.
Didn't buy one but saw on the site at the time + numerous others from cyber monday deal (late november) that they were suppose to arrive before christmas...

I believe they downgraded the GPU to the 2080 Super.
