I feel this should have been a $89-$99 set and even that I'd be a tad underwhelmed. But I know price per piece and all makes $89 a bit low.
Disney seems to demand a higher cut so Lego Disney sets tend to have a worse price per piece in my mind...

Now that it blew up, does this become a rare collectible item? 🤷🏼 ♂️
That's why you get it in pieces.

I might just get the knockoffs for my kids. They build it once and then it gets destroyed, pieces get mixed in with other legos, there goes the set. I've purchased knockoff minifigs on aliexpress, they're not quite the same quality as authentic legos but my kids can't tell.
Agreed. Kids can't tell. I'm thankful my parents saved some money and never bought me these licensed legos as a kid. Now I can afford and actually appreciate them as an adult.

I'm torn on this one. This is an expensive set, even by LEGO standards. It does not look like a fun build, looks like plenty of stickers, and it looks like it should be a $99.00 set at most. Of course it's a ridiculously popular set due to the popularity of the show. The collector in me wants it even though I don't like it. I'll probably wait to see if it goes on sale somewhere down the road.

Wow so deep. Why are you complaining about legos in a lego thread? You get joy out of that?

That's exactly why I buy from there.. We are a build once, destroy, wife puts away god knows where household. Out of 10 modular buildings, only one is still mostly together. It's a sad state.
