SabrePC is a system integrator who also sells OEM Hard Drives.

These drives are sold through the OEM channel so the warranty is also through the OEM and not directly with the manufacturer (WD).

They have good prices on NAS/Enterprise grade drives.

Shipping was fast and the box was well packaged. The drives have a 2020 build date.

They call to confirm orders since most of their sales are B2B

Having gone thru 2 WD NAS drives that need warranty, I'd be cautious about OEM service/support. YMMV, and I would love to hear great positive stories dealing with this OEM outfit.

There are some rumors/chatter that some of these OEM drives are pulled from servers with SMART data wiped.

This was 160ish on amazon with the same OEM vendors a few months ago, so this is pretty much regular price.

Link? The drives came in a card box box with the two plastic end pieces. 2020 manufacture.

I think this is just speculation...

Company has been around for more than a decade, has business customers, an actual person who calls & confirms orders. Highly unlikely though not impossible.
