About $6 at Target for one, and around $11 for two at Walmart, so with free Prime shipping, appears to be good deal.

  • Jar contains 80 servings of Truvia natural stevia sweetener at 3/4 teaspoon each
  • 3/4 teaspoon provides the same sweetness as 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • Gluten-free, sugar-free, kosher, and suitable for people with diabetes
  • Spoon into anything from your coffee, tea, fruit, cereal and yogurt to your fav

Be aware that these blends typically have erythritol as the first ingredient. Probably better off buying erythritol in bulk and adding pure stevia to it as needed.

Yucky sucky taste. Just have some regular organic sugar in moderation, fatties...

This is a reasonably good price on these, as I typically buy them for ~5.50 at Walmart. I would also say that Truvia is much better than other brands I've tried, in terms of taste. In for a couple.

I ordered this size container from Amazon for $1 more about a month ago (that also seemed like a decent deal bc it was less than what it cost at most grocery stores near me. As someone who's used to using real stevia it was just too fake and odd tasting; basically like Splenda that claimed to be made with Stevia.

That being said, fans of Splenda may really like this.
I wish the container came with a scooper.
I only used it for coffee but I always had to guesstimate on how much to use for a cup.

Do you know anywhere that sells pure Stevia? Pure stevia is bitter, and not sweet - it's also VERY expensive. It's normally added to other ingredients, esp ingredients with 0 cals.

Pure stevia extract is naturally bitter, potent, and cannot be eaten by itself. To help ensure the best taste for your sweetening needs, this stevia, like all other brands of stevia, is processed with a blend of stevia and other ingredients. Two common ingredients are dextrose and maltodextrin, which are carbohydrates derived from corn. Though dextrose and maltodextrin will not take away from the sweet taste of stevia, they will work to dilute the potency of the stevia leaf extract and make your stevia product more measurable for consumer use when substituting "cup-for-cup" as a sugar replacement.

Have you found any real Stevia that is a decent deal in terms of price and taste? Could you recommend what you use? Thanks
