I'll bite but I do loath supporting either H&R or TurboTax. They spend millions lobbying Politicians to keep the tax code at a level of complexity that keeps them relevant.
Weren't we supposed to get tax reform so we could do our taxes on a 3x5 card?

Yes, comes with 1 state download that allows you to print your state return, e-file is an additional cost..federal you have 5 efiles

Just to be clear, for the Premium, I could e-file the federal for free, but cost extra for the state e-file (but I have the option to print the state return and manually mail it in), is that correct?

As a test I went through the Amazon checkout for H&R Block download and my $5 software/game credit wasn't applying. I also have $5 in Prime video and MP3.

I'm hoping they didn't change anything in deluxe so I can still do self employed and stock trades.. also I noticed this doesn't work with Windows 7 anymore. My wife has a Win8.1 laptop but does anyone know if there is a workaround to use on Windows7?

Yeah please tell us why. This is my first year doing my own taxes because I've been doing a lot more stuff (Creating and investing in a Roth IRA, Trading stocks, etc.) and I want to do research into getting as many tax credits as possible. Really this is all stressing me out and I haven't even started. Due to my low income, I don't think it would be worth going to an actual person, so i'm really just trying to find the best software.

If anyone can help please let me know

I trade a lot, and many including HRBlock only allows a certain number of trades or it overloads the software. They may have changed that by now, but I have never had luck with them. Good luck! $TSLA stonks todamoon!

My no-rush credits are applying no problem. Have $4 worth and it took $4 off of the downloaded version. However, they're at 32.97 for Deluxe. I think I need to jump on this NewEgg detail
