I used to print things like this at a major national retailer. You'd be surprised. Large format printers can easily cost $10k and HP-branded ink ain't exactly cheap.

When they do print them correctly, they are well worth the $15. I have gotten many compliments as I hang them up at home and work. Just keep in mind they are not equivalent to ones you can get that cost 10x the price.

That is the reason I always recommend that for canvas prints you do not choose subjects with fine detail, such as a delicate flower or a close-up portrait of a baby. Pictures with large areas
of similar colors (sunsets, scenics, and so on ...) will do well.
Another recommendation: choose black color for the edges, do not let the images wrap around.
On the subject of frames for canvas prints (I presume you do not talk about the inner frame on which the canvas is stretched): they are meant to be displayed w/o frames.
I am willing to bet that Printique uses more expensive printers than any Walgreens store.
Yet, for example, a 20X24 canvas print full price is $150 at Walgreens and $110 at Printique.
Also, the Printique price is for 1.5" inner frame, while I assume the Walgreen's price is for 0.75" and to get 1.5" you have to pay extra.
Got to the sore at 7:30 pm so they can tell me we don't have the size you requested. Mind you I drove 20 min to get there. 😡 but the discount works.
