This should read, "photo items normally 300% overpriced, now regularly priced".
I used to print things like this at a major national retailer. You'd be surprised. Large format printers can easily cost $10k and HP-branded ink ain't exactly cheap.

I've noticed the canvas photos to be a little blurry honestly would rather just have a nice frame.

I bought 11x14 canvas from CVS and Walgreens (same photo source). The CVS quality was better in terms of the frame, wrapping tightness, and overall appearance. The Walgreens also was a bit more blurry compared to the CVS, but not super noticeable. My biggest issue that lead to the Walgreens return/refund, the frame backing is different so it doesn't sit flush on the wall. There are these 4 black plastic pieces that sit on each corner to keep the frame together and so it sits off the wall a few mm (compared to the CVS, which can sit flush - or as flush as your hanger nail sits)

I can only talk to the metal panels, but make sure to look at them when you arrive before you purchase them. It varies significantly from one walgreens to the other. Also how much the worker that is manning the photo center cares that day. I have had horrendous ones printed and denied them only to purchase them from a different walgreens 2 miles down the road that came out great.

When they do print them correctly, they are well worth the $15. I have gotten many compliments as I hang them up at home and work. Just keep in mind they are not equivalent to ones you can get that cost 10x the price.

By the nature of the canvas the prints will inherently not be as sharp as those printed on paper, or on metal (the sharpest).
That is the reason I always recommend that for canvas prints you do not choose subjects with fine detail, such as a delicate flower or a close-up portrait of a baby. Pictures with large areas
of similar colors (sunsets, scenics, and so on ...) will do well.

Another recommendation: choose black color for the edges, do not let the images wrap around.

On the subject of frames for canvas prints (I presume you do not talk about the inner frame on which the canvas is stretched): they are meant to be displayed w/o frames.

Never heard of metal canvas. What is it? Where did you find it?

Still a bloated full price.

I am willing to bet that Printique uses more expensive printers than any Walgreens store.
Yet, for example, a 20X24 canvas print full price is $150 at Walgreens and $110 at Printique.

Re my post #12 above.

Also, the Printique price is for 1.5" inner frame, while I assume the Walgreen's price is for 0.75" and to get 1.5" you have to pay extra.

Ordered an online instore pickup for same day photo pick up. It told me ready after 5:50 pm
Got to the sore at 7:30 pm so they can tell me we don't have the size you requested. Mind you I drove 20 min to get there. 😡 but the discount works.
