I have the 1989 Batmobile. Reviews say this Batwing falls short of a satisfactory build compared to the Batmobile. I'd like this set to display next to my Batmobile... but really like if someone with the Batwing can chime in on the build process.

While I would say the batmobile has better features I would definitely recommend getting the batwing too. They look great together and it's a fun and unique build.

Man I love the this and the batmobile, attention to details are fantastic- even the figures are spot on, I love that the Batman fig has the same thick "can't move your neck" cowl like the film- but too rich for my blood.

Batmobile is definitely a better kit (can't remember if was 199 as well). One cool thing about the batwing is you can mount it on the wall with just a simple screw or nail. It has a spot underneath that's like a picture hook. I have the batmobile on display with the batwing on the wall above it. You also get the better joker mini fig as well.

This set is amazing. I don't have the Batmobile so I can't compare. There's a lot of repetition in at first in building up the volume of the wings and layer putting some plates on them, but seeing it all come together is just amazing. It's imposing once it's finished. I wouldn't say it's a must-own but it was definitely worth the asking price.
