Usually the price hovers around $140-150 for new ones. These have pretty decent reviews and can also be bought for $150 (with EPP) at Samsung.com

Last time these were on sale at woot (Dec 25) were for $120 so this is a better price.
I own these headphones and they are a steal for $100. Earlier this year I thought I would audition Bose and Sony comparable headphones. It is true that the these don't kill outside sound as well and they can be a little tight on your head. The sound though is much better then Sony. Sony sounds thick and muddy sounding compared. The treble and midrange are much clearer on the 700s. The Bose were much closer in sound but not quite there. , buy these for music and video. I think they have a much better overall presentation music wise. Movie wise they have very good bass and voices are clear and understandable. The Bluetooth works well and at quite a distance too. Don't buy these for the tech qualities, buy these for the sound quality. For 100 you will be hard pressed to beat them.
I own a pair and like them a lot. I think they are a bargain at $100.

BUT, you would be foolish to take the word of a random internet post like this one. Search N700NC2 for easy to find reviews including those from PC Mag and the strange but entertaining What HiFi. They originally were priced around $300.

Pretty sad that the product description needs to say a Samsung brand because no one knows AKG. I'm tempted to try it although it's a little older model now. Bluetooth 4.2 I believe from a review I read. Also has some clamping force. That's enough for me to pass.

They're pretty faithful to the Harman curve/target so they should sound good to most people. I have to lower the bass and some mids in EQ since the Harman sound is too bassy and warm for my tastes.

I enjoy mine too. Excellent sound quality, build and comfort. However, the noise cancellation quality isn't all there. Even the much cheaper, on-ear AKG N60NCs I have somehow manage to do a noticeably better job.

AKG had always been a Harman Kardon brand. When Samsung bought Harman, it also bought JBL and AKG, both Harman brands.

I'm looking for something around $35, I want a gaming headset, I am on PC. I have had a Turtle Beach headset for like 6 years, the sound is great but the thing is falling apart
