I think it's where you live, what season and how close you live to a hub. We buy chocolate all the time in Indiana. The hub is 2 miles away

This doesn't look like Valentine's to me. The white and silver on the package looks like it could be for any occasion. Maybe even Christmas. I would be leery because who knows what the expiration date is.
