I just received the 7P from previous deal directly through Steelseries. Unfortunately the right speak was consistently louder than the left speaker and no way to balance.
Hoping their support is good. I like everything else about the 7P though. Very comfortable on my head and sounds good, aside from balance issues. Their customer service is currently experiencing high volume per response to my support ticket.
Hard to say since I got a lemon off the start, but based on comfort and sound, I wish I purchased the wireless pro set back when it was on sale for around $220. I was too hesitant of the brand at the time. Normal price seems too high to justify.

I've heard only bad things about their customer support. Hopefully it has improved. I've been using the Arctis 5 Wired for almost a year now and it's been great, knock on wood.
I purchased this headset this year (2019 edition) and found that my right speaker was louder than my left as well. I couldn't rebalance the L/R either.
I was surprised that my $150 headset failed to do the most basic and fundamental function all headphones should be able to do: have balanced left and right speakers. I immediately returned the headset, and received a new pair. Lo' and behold, it had the same issue.
Many people online suggested maxing put the physical volume knob on the headset and to dial it up or down through software. This didn't solve my issue, and even if it did it's a ridiculous solution to use considering the amount you pay for these headphones. Steelseries engine 3 didn't resolve it either. I had to return the set last week.
My overall impression: it's feature rich, the sound is somewhat muddy (look up rtings review) but most importantly they suffer from a fatal sound imbalance.
TLDR - Received two pairs THIS year, both defective. Right louder than left.
Please.. PLEASE suggest a wireless headset that's as feature rich and usable.
Picked up a 7p last month. Pretty disappointing. The comfort is great, the sound quality not so much. Tried the equalizer for some ok ones. But overall sound is muddy and just not that great.

I've read that the Arctis Pro is a good set. I know it's expensive though. My last pair (Logitech G930) I bought about 10 years ago.. so perhaps if I get another 10 years from the Arctis Pro Wireless, it'll be worth it?
Any thoughts on the Pro model?

Plastic, junk everything is mainly made out of cheap material. My headset lasted only for three years. Where my Plantronics lasted 10 years. I'm trying Corsair now and the headset is made out of steel. Not cheap plastic junk!
I purchased this headset somewhere back in 2017/2018 and I too have the audio balancing issue. As I increase the volume up and down, the balance on each ear become louder/softer. It's super annoying to try and get the right spot where they're almost balanced. I'm not sure if they fixed this in the newer models or not, but this has caused me to stay away from SteelSeries wireless headsets. One of my biggest nuances as well is the degradation of the headset battery. I wish there was an option to switch the battery out yourself instead of having to send it to SteelSeries once the degradation has progressed a lot. However, for a headset that has lasted me 3-4 years, it was a decent headset. My favorite part of the headset has to be the Chat & Game volume adjustment slider.
I needed a headset that I could connect to my computer and cell phone at the same time. I believe the Arctic 9 does this, but it is out of stock everywhere. Does the 7 do this as well?
Is there another headset that does this?

BTW This is the 7X that is on Amazon, not the P.
