Was with them many years. I dumped them 2 years back when they stopped $12 federal + state
For those that use TurboTax, Chase Offers has 10% off if you use:
- Sapphire Reserve
- Freedom
- Freedom Unlimited

there may be others but I have the above and saw it there. Not as much as 30% for this deal but some are picky on their tax providers
I have been using them forever but they keep raising the price of the downloadable software that it might be time to move on. I really liked the ability to fill in fields direct on the forms vs having to do the Q&A for everything.

TaxAct has a worst support, their call center always busy, their email support hardly work. From last two years filing I had few questions but was never able to reach them, I tried 3-4 times, waited long on call, and ended the call after long wait.

As long as you do not need help from them, you are goog. But consider your decision to choose those who provides better service.

Hope I will return back to them if their service gets improved.

Tips, though this needs extra effort but always try with 2-3 providers and compare your return, and go with the best...

Yes, you can. Only downside is that you agree to share your information for marketing purpose. Not sure what level of sharing CK is doing.

Same here but HR Block was a bit more cumbersome last year. Used TaxAct 10 years before. If this works with the download version I may switch back.

whatever is the cheapest. Last year it was H&R Block, same this year - about $15 for Fed + State. And if there is no free efile, I just mail the return, not a big deal

I've used CK the last 2 years and have no complaints. They have a credit monitoring service and from what I can tell, the only sharing they do is try to sell you loans and credit cards. For example, if you have a couple of credit cards with balances, they will offer you a consolidation loan though an occasional email. Credit alerts are fast.

Anyone know how to request the IRS send all of your previous taxes back to you?
