same world setting as Stein's Gate. Watched the anime. Interesting story.
If anyone is wondering, I'd recommend the original visual novel over the Elite version. It's on PC, and there's a translated PSP version if you want to emulate it for handheld play.

The Elite version basically takes clips of the anime and plays them in the background, which I found pretty distracting. If you are accustomed to visual novels at all I think it would be particularly jarring. The original VN's art is also more distinctive.

I'd recommend just watching the anime over the Elite version of the VN.
