PNY CS900 SATA 2.5 inch SSD drives are on sale at Amazon. The 960 GB seems to be the best value (1 TB is $12 more).

Nvme is better at nearly same price
True but if you want to fill a chassis with some kind of RAID or ZFS Pool, SATA is usually still the go-to.

Not everything will boot from an NVME drive, my DELL T20 server won't, so this is not a bad deal at all.

Grab low priced SSD's while you can. I'm a PNY partner and received this email today. 25% import duties coming.

Hello Glen:

Just an FYI concerning SSDs – pricing is expected to increase very shortly for all SSDs for all vendors. If you have any deals "in the hopper" do all you can to book it now before pricing goes up.

Feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to working with you. 😊

Best Regards
