I know the Moto Z line has started dying but I know there's a bunch of you like me that still will use these until they die!

Just to save anyone else the time, this is the straight battery pack NOT the QI enabled one we all hope to snag one day.

In other words, no way to charge it without connecting it to your phone. Useless IMO unless you have a spare Moto Z for charging.

You better grab whatever you find now- they aren't becoming EASIER to find.

Motorola was selling this for $25 each couple months ago.

Wouldn't surprise me if this seller hoarded it all and is now selling it for $36.90 a pop.

Ah that's true. I forgot that Amazon sellers get a fee as well.

Spare moto z to charge? You miss the point of this battery mod. This case can be left on all the time and charge whenever, is light weight (50% lighter than Tumi) and thinner which makes it more comfortable to hold on to and carry around. Comfort and weight matters. 2200 mAh can add another 1 or 2 days. It works nicely with bumpers so one can swap this battery mod with other mods and still keep the bumper on.... The large chunky battery mods like incipio/tumi are too thick to use and carry around comfortably.

I have the thin wireless charging style shell too. It is a smidge thicker than the regular style shells. Wireless charging is ok but I still prefer the speed of turbo charger. Wireless charging is never really wireless charging when there is a large dock with a wire to it.

motoz phones are from 2016. Motorola is not releasing new phones for using these type of accessories. So why waste money buying an outdated phone accessories

I have 2 wireless battery mods for my phone. I never have to plug my phone in because I simply swap mods whenever one is depleted. The wireless mods can recharge on their own while I'm using my phone freely, this one cannot.

My phone battery stays consistently at 80% which should preserve it. If I used this battery mod instead, my phone battery would cycle between 100% and 80% on a daily basis.

It doesn't matter that much, just the way I personally use the Z line.

I'm surprised the Moto Z line wasn't more successful. I owned several of them (Moto Z, Z2 play, Z3 and Z4) and everyone that ever saw it with the different mods thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I wish they would continue it.

I love the Moto Z line. I have two phones & two batteries. One phone & one battery are still unopened. Wish the camera was a little better. Other than that they are perfect for me.
