I don't know about this one but I bought the PS4 version and ended up getting a PS5 after all and when you put the PS4 disc in the PS5 it installs the PS5 version. There's like zero load time between scenes. You can only tell it's loading by the little icon in the lower right.
Now I'm in my 40s and i freaking LOVE this game. I'm apparently 100 hours in. Sure there's a couple glitches but to me this is way worth $60 so $35 is a slick deal imho. Highly recommend.

Of the recent AC open-world games this one is more of the same, but the landscape didn't interest me nearly the same as Egypt or Greece did. So samesy I couldn't waste my time finishing.
I actually felt the same way.
I'm about 100 hours into the game and I can say that the Valhalla is a good game but not as intriguing as the Odyssey in its story line, landscapes, and the protagonists/antagonists.
Still a pretty solid game, though.

Honestly, I like Fenyx Rising quite a bit more than this.
Thank you to everyone who pays full price for these games at launch. Makes it cheaper for us who wait a couple months. Lol
I bought this full price and have gotten more than my money's worth out of this game. As a fan of the series I wanted to play it ASAP to avoid spoilers and to experience it for myself. I have a newborn. Gaming time is precious. I was going to come here and sing this games praises. Which I will. But comments like yours are pedantic and self indulgent. Good for you that you waited? I've fully been enjoying my time with the game. Recommend highly to anyone who's played either of the previous entries or even wants a "diet Witcher" -esque experience.
Combat is very unsatisfying after playing Ghost of Tsushima and Demon's Souls. Weapons feel like hitting with plastic toys, no weight and lack of satisfying sound effects. Fire effects looks like crap too.

It's fun, but if you're the map-clearing type like I am, just know that this is a 90-100+ hour game that you're looking at.
