This cot is excellent quality. I bought a couple from Amazon few years ago for approximately $36 each.
sure. some, possibly disgusting smelling stranger and their unkempt wildlife pets may have lived on and done god-knows-what on it for a few weeks before returning it - it's a dollar and change cheaper for the wear and tear (possibly smells and light staining)!
For everyone having issues putting the last joint together, you're doing it wrong, you're not supposed to try to strong arm it, put it on its side, step on the short side with your foot and easily join. Here's a video for how to put army cots together
I went to Walmart but the one for $30 is the Coleman Trailhead Cot but this one on Amazon says Coleman Trailhead II Cot....don't know if the one in Amazon is and upgrade version?
How does this compare to the comfort deluxe? The other is about $70 and has a pad, however based on specs listed, it is lighter.
If I had to bet that one with the mattress is going to be a lot more comfortable. The other big difference is this one folds up into a bag whereas the other just folds in half. So depending on where you're storing this or transporting it that may make the decision for you.
