First deal post! Also first time I've seen a QLED of this size at this price point. Description at walmart.com says "Features our QLED Nanocrystals technology resulting in a super vivid color and contrast experience. The Quantum Processor features a powerful processor to optimize screen brightness and sound control. Quantum dot display boasts 100 - percent colour volume to bring you living color in both Bright and dark scenes.". I wanted an inexpensive 65" to replace the older 43" in our den area. Saw some other 65s had been posted around the $400 price point here and heard that Hisense recently upgraded to quantum dot technology in its H8G series. While I couldn't find a 65" of that particular model at a similar price point, I stumbled upon this one which looks quite comparable and has my preferred Roku OS as well. Hope this is useful to others here!

Yeah no HDR it looks like from the few reviews I found. Could be its Achilles heel. No Rtings for this one?

How does a QLED not have HDR? Just seems like a waste of a QLED screen.

Their non qled panels have limited hdr so I wouldn't think they'd remove it on their highest end sets

Hard to find any details or reviews on this specific model outside of the walmart page.. where there appears to be several fake-ish 5 star reviews followed by a few "arrived broken" reviews. RCA has been nothing but a licensed brand for years now, and in this case I'd bet you get what you pay for. Very cautious on this one.

"The huge tv arrived earlier than expected I was so happy to see it"
"I'm not a paid customer"

The Google details on this model list HDR (not that it's some super reliable source, but it's something). But then it says this:
"Input Video Formats: 1080i, 480i, 480p"
Does that mean it won't support full 4K input like from a 4K blu-ray player?

These are B or lower grade panels sold to the company that bought RCA, coupled to a no-frills controller board that can support it.

Because it uses Roku firmware, you can expect that it's not super custom in design.

They probably just use the QLED technology Samsung employs, where it's a non-integral film that aids a full array of standard LED backlights.

As for HDR support, I'm willing to bet it supports it, but it doesn't look very good.

Of course my first deal post would be too good to be true! No1 Dang! Walmart still gave the option to cancel the order so I did so just in case. We'll see if they accept it. Of note, I found that Walmart Canada's page clearly mentions this having HDR10: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/rca-...0201928268, but not going to risk ordering if I can't be 100% sure. There are more reliable deals out there. The closest RCA model I could find reviews on after some searching was the RTRQ6527, which is a non QLED and not the greatest rated either.

Update: Walmart let me cancel. Yay!

I don't think rtings reviews these budget only brands like Element, Onn, Insignia, Westinghouse etc
