I do love watching his videos, especially a "thermonuclear" deal. Gets me every time. Haha.
Since he follows the deals closely he has really good perspective on current prices vs past deals. One of the best things he did in November/December was make a morning video going through the special buys of the day to pinpoint anything good. Since HD special buys are like lights, siding, or gutters lately, he hasn't done it in a while.
His most recent "Q1 deals" videos you can ignore though. Those aren't the Q1 deals. The M12 is from Q4 and not a great deal. The new M18 stuff he posted isn't really a "deal" and there's much better stuff coming for Q1.
