Few days ago , same card had "5% cash back on grocery store purchases (not including Target or Walmart purchases) on up to $12,000 spent in your first year of account opening"
I have two Freedoms and a Freedom Unlimited. Can I get this card and the signup bonus?

I applied for this card and ended up getting Chase Freedom. I'm not sure why. does the both cards one and the same?
They aren't the same but you can't get an old plain Freedom anymore. If you already had one you can keep it. I'll bet you got the new one but you just aren't seeing the little "Flex" written below Freedom.
Not only can you have all 3 but you can even have multiples of any of them. Some time ago I had 2 Freedoms until I converted one to an Unlimited. The only value to that is if you spend more than $1500 in a quarter in teh 5X categories.
PS- You may want to keep that old Freedom and get a new Flex for strategic purposes. While the Flex offers the same benefits as the Freedom, it's a Mastercard. So for example when the quarterly bonus category is warehouse stores you won't be able to use it at Costco, since they only accept Visa.
Thanks. I'd keep all 3 if I was approved for the Flex. Mainly I'd get it for the $200 bonus since my other 2 cards offer everything this one does between the two. I already have a MC from another bank so I'm good there. Plus the additional credit, for emergencies as I've been trying to cut back on using credit for anything I can't pay down in 30 days.
Can I apply by showing my spouse income who is living with me .I am home maker.I would like to have my own CC.
Chase specifies that you are allowed to include income that someone else regularly deposits into your account (individual or joint). So as long as your spouse doesn't LITERALLY keep you away from their income, you'll be fine.
I recall seeing the income question on applications presented as 'household income' in the past. I don't think they are necessary asking for your personal income, but the general income base from which you can reasonably have to repay any debt.
i signed up for this last week *in a physical bank* and got the $200 sign up bonus as well as the 5% grocery x $12,000 spend in 1st year.
FYI
call bank branch ahead of time and ask if this is available before you go waste your time.
Good deal! There is an additional/extra $100 referral bonus that can be earned by a friend/family member who already has a Chase card, if you use their referral link and apply online. Sometimes friends or family will split that referral bonus with you.

no bro. I'm sure that i got the plain freedom card. I will apply for a flex card once i could. thank you.
For cards that offer a 0% APR for the first X months, do any ever end up charging you interest on purchases made within those X months even if you paid them off in full before those X months are over, after X months have passed--even if you have zero balance at the X months date?
I.e. does their 0% APR actually mean that you don't have to pay any interest for X months, not that no interest will accrue during those X months?
I'm just trying to make sure that none of these cards try to "claw back" these bonuses this way. And I don't just mean Chase, but others like Capitol One.
Of course, even if they do charge you back-interest, it would only be for the time you carried a balance, so if you pay off purchases right away, no interest.
3% seems for dining seems pretty good for a no annual fee card.
Is there another no fee credit card that can beat this?
(I see Capital One Savor is also 3% dining, no annual fee)

Not anymore, I believe the 5% grocery promo ended for referral applications in December.
I signed up for a freedom unlimited on jan 8 through a referral link and it removed the 5% grocery offer
I stopped by local branch and the grocery 5% cashback on Flex was still available. I printed out the offer with todays date. This is a big deal for some. Thanks OP!

Spending $200 on candy might not be the healthiest choice...

However, I try not to apply for more than two credit cards within a two month span to minimize impacts on my credit score.
