I appreciate the unique design of the center that keeps it low profile, but don't think these speakers offer a huge upgrade over the 2nd AJ line. These are mass market JBL at good prices. Conventional speakers with dome tweeters, nothing special.

The Infinities that have been posted are better and similarly priced. The JBL studios that get posted so often are in a different class, but also much more expensive.

In these price ranges I'd go for the Infinities on sale.

Good to know. I've wanted the Infinity speakers for a while now but always seem to be a day late on getting them on sale.

The 3-way infinity center is comically huge to most folks, but it's worth it. So many lines are held back by weak center channels. That infinity lineup is not one of them.

I'm looking at the JBL Stage A120's. I found a great review for the A130 but don't see any for the A120 (assuming it will be similar with less bass) for 150 on crutchfield. Anyone have any thoughts on the smaller model? I will be using it nearfield for my computer on desktop.

Yes on paper the Studios are "better" whether that difference is "worth" it to you, you would have to listen to both to actually know.
