Currently using this monitor and the 24" version for work and it's perfect for that use. Search the other threads on this model or the 24" model to see other reviews, especially about the border if that is important to you. Running it at 75hz mounted on a standard vesa arm. I bought it from Lenovo last month for 160 pre tax just for reference.

The 32 inch version occasionally go on sale for $180. I would wait for that.

6ms response time makes it poor for gaming. Can anyone recommend a decent 1440p monitor? It doesn't have to be a specific gaming screen, but looking for somewhat better response than what we have here.

27 inch, 1440p and less than 6ms response time? You will have to pay more for it. $100 more at least, it's very rare to get one for less than $300

Slow response time isn't really that big of an issue for low refresh rate monitors that are 60/75hz like this one. https://www.displayninja.com/inpu...onse-time/ It's basically because since the monitor only displays 60 or 75 frames per second, the pixels have more time to change colors before the next frame comes up.

For high refresh rate 120/144/165 HZ monitors it is much more important to have a fast response time. Since they display 2x-3x more frames per seconds compared to 60-75hz monitors, they have less time to change pixels colors in between frames to prevent motion blur from occurring.

But if you plan on mainly gaming you should go with a high refresh monitor since they offer a much smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience. Of course you need to have a GPU that can run your games at 100+ fps on 1440p or it's a moot point.

How does this monitor compare to the Lenovo ThinkVision P27q-20 that was on sale for the same price earlier this week?

From searching statistics comparison they seem nearly identical with this one having a larger bottom bezel and lacking height adjustment and a few plug ins.
Anyone else have any first hand experiences?

You're asking too much for this price point. Something with those specs STARTS at $300.

IIRC someone on that thread said the "p" in P27 was their "performance" line, similar to Dell Ultrasharp.

I just got the one from this deal today https://slickdeals.net/e/14686802-lenovo-c32q-20-32-qhd-ips-75hz-monitor-152

It's $176 now, but still an OK deal. It does have larger bezels than this monitor and doesn't get quite as bright on paper. Thought I'd throw this out there

Hmm, how are the colors on these? I'm thinking of picking up 2 for side monitors for watching videos or chatting while I game on my ultrawide. If you go through perks at work, it's only $170.99.

Monoprice 27in 1440p 144Hz displays go on sale for under $200 frequently. There are several different models with different response times, but all have very good specs for something at that price point.

That does not have an IPS panel
