Deal comes up with the "cheapest Lambo look-alike", and its a fiberglass body shelled 90s Camaro underneath.
People call it out as a bad investment and cosplay Lambo, and if this is "all the Lambo you can afford = you should not get a Lambo".
"Smartguys" call us out as "operators" and "badass" for pointing out the obvious. It is not a slick deal, it is not even a "Deal". That is the whole dealio with SL comments.
Do you think that ANYONE reads your critical posts and think "oh, a member acting in good faith" ? FFS
Yes, you should be looking at a simpler, "rigid" bike. Categories with such bikes are Cruisers, City, and Hybrid bikes. I would personally pick something with hand brakes for F/R, not coaster brake for the rear.
If you want the "cheapest" but OK value bike and you are over 5'-6", I would personally look into the Kent 700C Fixie / Hybrid etc - https://www.walmart.com/ip/Kent-7.../887192234
It is better than the one @ OP because it is SIMPLE, has few parts to put together and thus it will probably not be put together in a bad way, easy to maintain DIY and doesn't pretend to be what it's not.
This is a single-speed bike that might be tough for beginners unless riding flat streets, but great if you plan on exercising to gain stamina/strength.
Saddle is OK. Reality is, your "Soft molecules" will get used to riding over time. Really comfy "couch wide" saddles or stuffed extra-padding saddle covers etc are deceiving and will hurt you more if you indeed spend time on the saddle pedaling.
Saddles are unfortunately very personal: what suits one, might not the other.
Thank you very much for the informative reply!!
