They don't warranty the product if it's installed in your garage. I emailed their customer service about this and they said it needs to be in a climate controlled space and garages do not count as that according to their policy. So if you submit a photo or anything for repair and it shows a garage, they will not honor it. Just FYI.

I purchased this in October for $1699. I think you can probably get for 1799 or 1899 I bet in future sales if you want to wait.

The unit itself is easy enough to put together and is pretty sweet as a home gym. The bench is super low... I'll probably buy a bench separately or mod it to be taller, and I'm short at 5'7". Otherwise it's great. Well worth it under 2k imo.

I bought this last time and love it. It has a weight multiplier system enabling you to lift up to 360 lb.

What's the pulley ratio? Can you actually lift 360? Or is it 2:1, with 180 max?

My understanding is that the weight multiplier only applies to the smith bar (either 2:1 or 1:1) right? Not the individual pulleys?

I would recommend looking at the weights for centr 2 because if it is similar to other functional trainers, you may need additional weight soon. I got 200lbs each side, and I am already getting almost close to maximum weight due to pully ratio

edit: I meant to reply to fantasticmorning

I purchased one of the earlier versions from a retail store. I also purchased an extra weight set for it. Now I didn't really need it but one may wish to see if this is still an option directly from the company if it's a concern.

Does the Centr 2 have the option for future expansion?

Another great option is the Major Fitness F22 Raptor. They also have smith machines. You can get the full packages for less than this if you find a coupon code online. I used a 5%. Weight changes with plates are a bit annoying but being able to use the pulleys separately is really nice. Each pulley can go up to 300 lbs.
