Edit: I'm building a computer as an upgrade for my wife's PC. I plan to put a spare 1070 GPU in it and it is 267mm long. That should work if I can remove the lower cage. I do not need the cage as I will be using a M.2 drive in the build.
EDIT #2: Found my answer. Thanks for offering to look.

If it had come out super easy, I think I would have done it as I remember my SATA connectors were on that edge of the motherboard and hard to reach since it has two Radeon R9 270s in it, which are a bit under 250mm long.
I proceeded to ...
- Drill out the rivets on the lower right drive cage & removed cage
- Removed rear case fan
- Install MB/CPU/Memory/GPU/M.2/PSU
- Install rear case fan in front of case
- Install additional case fan in rear location
- Temporarily connect CD drive & loaded windows 10 (using an old W7 code)
- Remove CD drive and button everything up
- Load software & files from old PC
Everything works great & my wife loves her new PC.
Response to a few previously posted comments.
- My MATX board was large and it covered a couple of the cable routing holes. It also prevented the permanent installation of the CD drive.
- I routed and connected the CPU 8-pin power cable before I screwed down the MB. That allowed me to route the cable behind the MB so that it was hidden.
- The video card that I used fit fine in the case even with the drive cage in place. I plan to move one of my 1070s from my current SLI gaming rig into this PC when/if I upgrade to a 3080. The 1070 has an aftermarket cooler on it so I had to remove the drive cage for it to fit.
- The 650W PSU that I used was not modular. I plan to use a piece or 3" PVC (painted black) to hide all of the extra cables in the bottom of the case.
For $30, I am (and more importantly my wife is) pleased.
