Da Vinci Resolve looks comprehensive and high end. I don't think if u had that u would need any of these. I would only buy these if u r a geek about softwares but likely won't offer any benefit. These are for the people who don't have anything. If I had Da Vinci Resolve I would skip this.. actually im a geek so I would buy it needlessly.

Now for the good. It's easy to use. It does have good masks that while not advanced, are easy. You cant have it both ways with masking. The titles are more then acceptable at defaults. The media workflow is common sense driven, more then premier or final cut. It does support up to 4k at all resolutions, no 8k. It has a wide array of presets that look to work well. It has an easy to use zoom/panner. It seems to have an impressive amount of 3d presets and editing capabilities if you produce that for say VR.
All in all, for 10 bucks (with the purchase of blu ray burning) it's worth it. If I could go back and undo spending 8 bucks on blu ray to find out it has no 4k support, I would. I literally could not find that info anyplace pre purchase.
Some side notes. I have never seen a bigger cluster F then the website that is Corel. Seriously they need to fire whomever did this shit and remake a cohesive site. The KB/support/faq suck super bad. They do have good tutorials and video explainers, but they are scattered all over.
Hope this helps some.

Also how common is including disc authorizing features with video editing software these days? Only software I personally know for sure that includes it is NERO but I haven't used that for video editing or authoring (just audio or data). Back in the day I used an older version of Premier Elements which lacked authoring and a separate program (TMPGEnc DVD Author) for authoring. Haven't done any video disc authoring in years.
BTW for anyone reading who's interested in authoring or a list of commercial and freeware general video/audio utilities, Videohelp is a treasure trove:

I have a really outdated copy of Paintshop Pro and haven't used in awhile. Not bad for $30 if I decide to get back into it... need to find me a good digitizer tablet now. Was mainly interested in the video editing s/w.

Dunno. But I love DaVinci Resolve. Still learning too.
Humble Bundle is very legit. The products they carry might have already been release DRM free, or in this case, be outgoing versions of products.
Corel on the other hand, sucks A$$.
