Pre-order Galaxy S21 series (T-Mobile) via Samsung Direct from $0

Pre-Order Galaxy S21 series (T-Mobile)

Trade in value for S20, Note 20, iPhone 12 series are now $800 (instead of $700 for other carriers/unlocked)

If you do not have above devices for trade-in, it is better to look at the T-Mobile deal post. More trade-in device options and higher values for older devices too.

Previously, T-Mobile had subsidized $25 off (S21) and $100 off (S21+ & Ultra) rebate for their models via Samsung Direct. That has ended, but if you still have S20/Note20 series, this matches last best value. This is also the lowest S21 price, free after trade-in. Matching the same ongoing T-Mobile pre-order promotions.

Stack with EPP or Samsung Discount Program, making Buds Pro only at $1.99+tax (after $100+$60 In-App pre-order credit)

Use promo code YOURGALAXY1RESERVEWA or 50LATESTGALAXY5G if you are only getting $100/$150/$200 accessories credits.

Prices after trade-in credit ($800)
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 5G
    • 128GB $0
    • 256GB $49.99
  • Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G
    • 128GB $199.99
    • 256GB $249.99
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G
    • 128GB $399.99
    • 256GB (only for unlocked)
    • 512GB $579.99

Samsung Direct vs. T-Mobile Pre-order:
Samsung offers one time trade-in credit, compare to T-Mobile which spread out credits over 24 months.

T-Mobile Device Unlock:
If purchased directly from Samsung, they would not need 40 days of service requirement due to IMEI not found in T-Mobile system. YMMV, message TForce via Twitter/FB to submit unlock request.

The deal via T-Mobile has more options for the $800 credit

Yes, a lot more trade-in options. This deal is only for specific devices S20/iPhone12. As T-Mobile gives 24 monthly bill credits instead of one-time credit like Samsung.

If I could do a swap of my Note20 Ultra for the S21 Ultra and just pay taxes, that's literally the only way I'd consider taking advantage of any of these deals. Otherwise, it's a downgrade. If you have the regular Note20 then I agree with the other reply that the S21 Ultra is the only way to go.

In some ways it's a downgrade even from S10: 1080p screen vs 2k, no microSD slot, no headphone jack, no MST on Samsung Pay...
I guess it's not worth upgrading from my base model S10?

Yeah for sure, just calling it out. The Samsung deal is literally for the top end models from Apple and Samsung. While the T-Mobile one has Older models available for the full $800 credit. Bill credits don't matter to long time T-Mobile customers.

It's really a downgrade? We just upgraded two lines to it. A s8 and a note 8. They really aren't power users so they'll be fine. Getting them free via device credits with pixel 4 trade ins.

I'm in the same situation and for me the answer is no. I would consider S21 ultra for the cameras but otherwise I'll use my S10 until a really good deal on a real upgrade comes along

For those with S9, it would be a no brainier to trade in for S21 right?

Last i tried to place an order with trade in, it told me it was max one outstanding trade in per address...would you be able to place a second order with trade in?

Are you sure it's per address? I've never ran into this issue before and I usually order with trade ins directly through Samsung. My orders are usually 2 separate orders for different names (mine and my SO) and never had any issues. When they had the S5 trade in for the Note 8 (after the Note 7 debacle) I actually ordered like 3 different Note 8s all under my name and those went through also. Not saying you're wrong but that have been my experiences. However, I will say that their website/app order process is whack sometimes and does not apply the correct promotions (whether it be codes or edu/military discounts). Occasionally I have to go through the ordering process a few different ways for it to apply the correct amount and take screenshots as proof. One time I placed an order through the app and the checkout screen was showing that I was paying one price but my CC was charged like $30 more.

It really isn't an upgrade. I have a note 10 ultra so I really wasn't even interested in any of them for me. I just didn't realize just how far back samsung went with their s21.

How much are they offering for the s9? If it's free then I'll do it just to keep the security updates if nothing else.
