Also, the plastic one is not even perfect round circle. It came oblong and its too soft. I had to return.

I must be the epitome of lazy, but I'm never buying another wall clock that's not automagically set (eg atomic or WiFi/NTP.)

Edit: I've seen this one go (I own one) as low as $14 and change:

IKEA sells similar clocks for less than $9 all the time. This is hardly a deal.

I bought one of these. They're incredibly cheap and $9 is what these clocks are worth basically. The loud ticking sound gives it away that it's a very very cheap clock. If you search silent clocks on amazon you can find multiple ones with better designs for $15. They're likely to be more durable and worth the difference.

I replaced all of my wall clocks to non-ticking sounds. My family loves the ticking sound as it puts them to sleep. For me it's the opposite I can't sleep...

I'm looking to put this cock on my outdoor patio. Anyone know if it will hold up being exposed to the rain/weather? The last one I owned stopped working because my assume the mechanism got wet.
