Dogs teeth need to be brushed like humans. My poor cattle dog always resist a teeth brushing and literally just had 6 teeth removed yesterday due to them being diseased and causing bone loss 😩 It's no joke, get ur dogs used to brushing their teeth people so you can avoid extractions. PS canine extractions cost alooooooot more than they do for humans
Start with gauze wrapped around ur finger than after a month move up to a rubber thimble looking toothbrush (used for infants gums) then go to soft toothbrush once ur dog is used to the process
With a tooth brush.

My vet recommended one that is endorsed by the veterinary oral health council(vohc). Apparently there are no standards for dog toothpaste.

I use a silicon finger brush. That works well too and is convenient to use.
