You will typically receive an email with instructions on how to redeem your code and how to redeem your Microsoft Rewards Points by the end of the week in which you signed up, though please give it up to 2 weeks to show up.

Only the first 10,000 people to join will receive a code to redeem their points. It may be possible that all 10,000 codes have been given away.

Edit: For clarification purposes, I meant it just may be possible all 10,000 codes have been given away if you don't get one... just maybe. I was poking fun at the FAQ's response/answer. I did not mean that it just may be possible you get a code. Please know I am not affiliated with Microsoft or its partners. There may be some hope, even though it started on January 18. The FAQ page, although not everyone that joins the Community Game Club will visit it, only has 1,721 views as of 11:06 P.M. CST on 01/21/2021.
However, the only downside in trying to determine success of getting the points based off of the FAQ page's visitors, is that the FAQ's weren't created until 2 days after the start of the promotion on 01/20/2021.
