I just booked a flight on spirit and found an 80% off coupon on their "deals" link. After searching all of the cheapest websites the exact flight I wanted was going to cost $220 for the round trip. I used the promo code "80pct" while booking it directly through the spirit website and got the same exact flight for $125. Not exactly 80% off but way cheaper than anywhere else and it seems to be site wide. No idea how long it will last but it's working right now, Good Luck!

Even with the coupon, it seems like the ORD-DEN flights are still more expensive than AA/UA/WN

Very interesting that their bag prices depend on the actual flight. That is to determine bag fees you actually need to select the exact flight you're on.

The adder to preselect seats (which is a must for us) includes a checked bag and is $60 pp each way. While that still saves money from a more reputable airline like JetBlue, it's not much. Not sure if it's worth trying to save $500 over the potential huge letdown it might be. I've never flown Spirit before.

Seriously. Every damned travel deal is worse than a gun thread or the old "No HDMI" bullshit. If you don't like the deal or are afraid to leave your house then STFU.
