Thank you! I was just looking to purchase one for my desk but couldn't justify the cost.

Do people still use dry erase boards? Seriously asking. Is it a hipster thing or just an old people thing?

We. have. technology.
My kids teacher likes to see the students work out math problems on a white board if possible.

Yeah, people do use them. You should try one for yourself. White boards do not show notifications from Facebook, Instagram and all other crap. They are clean. Once something written there, it stays there for you. Writing or drawing by hands makes your mind remember it much better. Yeah, you can set reminders on your phone but whole writing and visual experience of white board is soothing to your mind.

My daughter uses it to study. She got into the habit in elementary school.

1) Writing it out makes it real. That's different than typing. It engages a different part of the brain.

2) Seeing it written out - without having to go to your device and be distracted - is also more advantageous.

3) When you say "we have technology" do you mean "We have Big Brother"?

I suspect that if you stopped worshiping your technology and used your mind that you'd know all the above. Ironic. Smilie
