Remineralizing? You filter out nasty stuffs in the water and then you put it right back in?
yes. Your body doesn't need 100% pure, (0 TDS) water.
The whole RO process takes out everything, REMIN cartridge adds back in the good stuff.

This seems like a good deal, even has a booster pump and gauge which usually costs much more. And yes, you want re-mineralization since RO also stripss all the healthy minerals from water. It's basically trying to simulate something like spring water, of course it'll be no where close to natural spring water, but it's much better than tap and pure RO

Are there any users here with this model? Although the price is attractive, the relatively small sample of reviews is concerning.

Walmart has had the same deal for a while. Ordered the non pump version for $130 (most people won't need it) and it will be here in two days.

Have you looked into replacement filters? I'm trying to determine whether it accepts common filters and what the annual replacement costs are.

It uses standard filter sizes.

RO water isn't 0 tds. You would need a DI resin stage to get to 0 tds

Doesn't look like it has any UV filter.

By only hesitation is if you can easily find replacement filters. Anyone find compatible ones?
