I bought this for my kiddos in December. They love it. I would highly recommend buying a replacement pack of the paper. The amount they provide in the product is small and my kids used all of it on one day. You can also make your own paper by cutting it to a circular size, but I preferred buying the replacement pack. I found my paper pack on Amazon as target didn't sell it last month.

Do you recall which paper you got from amazon? I can't seem to find it.

Lots of people complaining about the lack of extra supplies (paint, paper, etc). I'll pass.

Standard construction paper folded in half can be cut to almost exact size and gives two disks. The markers are literally just markers, so cheap, or use crayons, colored pencils, etc you have on hand. The bottles of ink are just ink. Buying refill bottles will probably last you longer than you keep this, but we found the ink is messy and does not make a great design. Using a marker on the spin side yields more consistent and clean results. We had some gel crayons and those worked good too, just more pressing needed to keep it spinning. Using something that needs more pressure on the spin side, like a crayon or colored pencil, slows it down too much, but does work.

Water colors can probably be used instead of the ink, but we have not tried that yet and don't like the mess. Once the kid can clean the thing themselves I will suggest they try it, but for now that one is staying under my hat.
