I have the Hitachi version of this. Great compressor, I used it for small framing, roofing projects. Ive even textured walls and ceilings with this compressor.

I'm in a market for a good compressor, mainly for filling car tires, etc.

Awesome deal. I'm holding out for "The Tank". "The Tank" does 4 cfm vs. the 2.8 cfm of this one. Still this is an excellent deal on a good compressor and it is quieter than the bigger "Tank" one.

Maybe wait for a deal like this one..... Granted, the OP Chinese junk is better than a hand tire pump, but filling the occasional tire is about all the oiless throwaway compressors are good for.... they last as long as the Teflon, or the single rubber ring on the piston. Buy a compressor with an oil crankcase and real steel rings that will last... like that Porter Cable link.
