I too got the Treasure Truck deal. It's been sitting on my shelf unopened.
I got it on the TT deal, too, just before Christmas. It's worth watching the original Back the Future and then playing the game. I think it's pretty thematic and fun co-op, one of my new faves, and I own a lot of games.
I thought its fun, but the manual and game play can be obtuse if you don't know the flow. Watch reviews for it. It was an ok gift for a BTTF fan. Its a long game which is all about doing stuff in Hill Valley, getting delorean parts, getting delorean to site, making sure Marty's mom and dad are in love (health bar) and assaulting biff from bringing the love meter to negative... all before Marty and siblings are deleted from the photo
We got this as a Christmas gift. It's a co-op game (like Pandemic or Forbidden Island), and we've only played it once.
I thought it was pretty good, but found our first play through a bit tough. We lost pretty badly, and was pretty frustrating as a result.
But I think it definitely has some fun mechanics to it, such as gaining items that provide future bonuses. By the end of the game, even though we lost pretty bad, I appreciated some of the mechanics and felt like it would be a satisfying game to beat as a group.
If you're looking for a challenging co-op game, and are a fan of BTTF, I think it's worth $20. If you're on the fence, watch a "How it's played" or playthrough video.
Huge BTTF fan, grabbed this. I have Walmart + so the shipping is free. Looks like my Local Store may have it, so I wouldn;t be surprised if it gets dropped off at my house on the same day.
