Not here to bad mouth the deal, but just an FYI: There have been posts about money disappearing from electronic cards from Target.
I am a new AT&T prepaid customer and was wondering if it's good to purchase these refill cards at one go and add them to my account. Are you saying that the codes can be invalid after we buy them OR after loading the account with the cards, the total amount decreases without being used up for the payment?

I belive the safe practice is to use up these purchased codes as soon as you buy them. Allegedly, the codes can easily be stolen after being processed through sales.

Just to confirm if I understood this right. After I buy the cards (suppose I buy 2 cards $100 each), I should use both cards instantly and load my prepaid account balance to a total of $200 instead of saving the second code for use after a month?

That's what I do. The $100 cards are good for a year, so there's no reason not to add them to your account immediately to avoid any potential theft.

That makes sense. Thank you so much! Are there any chances that we do not receive the code by e-mail after we buy the cards online within 4 hours(as the website states)? If so, should we contact the customer care or this is a rare possibility?

it happened around the holiday, but as long as you've got proof of sale, just contact them after a day or so. never a problem other then the late card email.

Agreed with others on using upon receiving the email/e- gift card. I have had no issues adding balance to cricket. At one point I had an account credit over $2000. From buying a few cards everytime one of these deals popped up.
