Was at Lowes for something else, and happened to go by the Clearance section, and saw a couple of these, marked down to $12:
This is the item:

EDIT Other posted found the BS link : Brickseek does NOT show this product priced as discounted, so don't TD if you cant find it.
I grabbed a couple (buy 1st, think later), since I remembered that there was a Greenworks Slickdeal going on, and was hoping to buy some batteries cheap. (But the batteries are $130-200, and sold out on
www.greenworks.com for the sale, so no go there). I was looking for a Lithium powered LARGE power bank, and hoping that this was make the base of one, but doesn't look like that idea will work.
I'm debating whether to return them or eBay them (if its worth the effort). The MSRP is like $99, and there was a 10 TU SD for them at $59, so I might give eBay a shot.
Good luck in the hunt.

But I would definitely pick this one up at this price, even if I don't have any 60v tools...
Just in case, lol.
It's a YMMV....

Besides, by your own findings, while this is cheap "on paper" it's not really a hot deal unless you already have appropriate batteries and charger at hand. Hence the price.
Finally, the MSRP of $129 for this is ludicrous to begin with. 300w 12v -> 100v inverters can easily be found for under $30. There is no reason why this one should be any more. If I were you I'd return them and put it down to experience.
I gave you 4 rep points. Would you rather have the TU or the reps?

Its just that WHEN someone puts YMMV, you're not "supposed" to TD, if you cant replicate the deal. I know I don't, if they put YMMV.

Edit to say what I mean by the above comment is when someone puts YMMV in the title its common courtesyt to not strike the thumbs down just because you could not find the item or just because (as it seems in your case) you had no use for the item. A lot of us already have the 60v batteries on hand and for 12 bucks its one heck of a deal, Thanks OP and reps for the deal. Keep deals like these coming.
