I'm debating if this would be beneficial for my mother who suffers from osteoarthritis in her knees. Anyone know?

Some people like them. They can provide a bit of stability for folks who have loose ligaments, and can help keep the joints warm so they hurt a little less. It's basically YMMV whether a given person will find them comfortable and helpful. For this price, may as well give them a try.

P.S. The knobby pads on these might preclude use under pants. She might be better served with simple compression sleeves.

They can help reduce pain and stiffness, so it's worth a shot. Some people love the feel of compression, others hate it. My mom (80's) wears compression socks and they do help with swelling and pain some.

Nice. My annual job performance review is coming up. So I can get a good review and head off the gym right after.
