The good: The excellent-sounding Sony WH-1000XM3 is more comfortable and 20% lighter than its predecessor. It offers slightly improved noise canceling and performs better as a headset for making calls. Battery life is strong, and it has some nifty extra features geared toward frequent travelers.
The bad: Your ears can get a little warm inside the ear cups. I encountered some adaptive noise-canceling hiccups.
The bottom line: With its comfortable fit and superb performance, the Sony WH-1000XM3 is the noise-canceling headphone to beat.

$50 more where? Everywhere I look, it's $278 right now, which is $78 more.
Second, that's not necessarily the best choice. The XM4 adds a few features, but isn't a huge upgrade over the XM3. Plus, the XM4 drops aptX codec support, which is kind of a big deal for Android users. The only big argument for the XM4 is if you really need/want the multi-point connection ability.
This is the first time I've seen these headphones on substantial sale from an authorized dealer since I created a deal alert over a year ago. Definitely jumping on this one
On xm4 ldac supports the EQ as well. Also ldac only works when multipoint is off.

Confirmed on Sony's website that focus camera is in fact a sony authorized dealer (which means the warranty is valid on these): https://www.sony.com/electronics/retailers

I saw that deal too, those are refurbs and the warranty on those is through the seller though, I thought.
Either way, glad you're happy with what you got
Yes very happy with the xm4, but also glad to have xm3, which supports apt-x codec, which Windows 10 can use out of the box. Xm4 uses a lower codec in Windows 10, doesn't it?
