BTW, Epson refurbished projectors carry 2 years warranty, which is not bad.

Hdmi audio extractor or Bluetooth receiver should hack the audio out issue

This is nice, cause my hd146x takes just over 13 to do 125 inches.

Seriously...the 1060...talk about bottom end of epson. You can get Optoma or Benq 1080p that will blow the fart out of this unit.

It would be a good deal for 200 bucks.

The HC 1060 doesn't support 3D and it scores lowest in the group for black level and contrast, which limits its usefulness for traditional home theater

So they say its a great projector except for contrast. You wonder why folks spend 2000 bucks for OLED tv 55 inch for the contrast plus other things.

Never used projectors for movies at home. Are these better compare to 4K led TVs? Btw I just got Sony 75" for movies. That's why asking.

I used vankyo 430 before I upgraded to this model. Brightness on the epson projector is at least 3-4 times better even in ECO mode.

Vankyo projector had keystone feature, which was practically useless. Looses focus on corners when I adjust keystone.

Depends. To get one that would beat a 4k tv is gonna be expensive. I have the epson 3800 which was 1700 at the time and a Samsung 55 4k tv 6 series for 500 and I think the Samsung is better, hard to beat the black levels TVs can provide but the ability to have 100 inch screen and a pretty good 4k image, albeit faux 4k, more than makes up for it. I plan to use it with a 120 inch screen once I move, maybe give a grey screen a try to boost the contrast even more but regardless I'm pretty happy. However in this case I would say, would you rather size or quality? Something would have to give. I got a 1080p projector to start and I wanted more hence the epson 3800. so could be a good entry point to see if you like dealing with a projector. They also a little bit more of a hassle sometimes compared to TVs. Fans make the room hot, black screen when switching between hdr and as content, need a high quality hdmi if your using a 25ft hdmi or more, have to play with settings more, etc...

PS having a completely light controlled room helps a lot, if you have it in a room with sunlight it's going to wash it out, how much so depends on the amount of external light. Hope this helps.
