Great VPN. They recently released a statement with screenshots from websites that rate VPNs for money, and basically said they are no longer playing that game. That they would rather invest that money in the platform (because some of the sites were complaining that they could not make enough commission based on their sale prices).

Take that with a grain of salt or not, but if you don't find them on the rating sites for "top VPNs of 2020, 2021, 2022 etc., I can tell you that it's not because they are not worth it.

Before the pandemic I would have to travel to about 9-12 countries per year, and Windscribe never let me down. Easy interface, quick and stable connection, and also no logs being kept.

I was lucky to get a lifetime a few years ago, and they have been getting better and better. Since that's not being offered anymore, this is a great deal imho.

Wish they had the lifetime plans available again

Windscribe has worked great for me when I was in China and in Russia.

That was my experience as well. I was getting 480 mbps down on Spectrum, but only about 200 something once I connected through windscribe.
Recently switched to Frontier Fiber's 500/500 plan. Now getting around 375 down with Windscribe.
I suspect it has a lot to do with the lower latency on fiber.

Must be redeemed within 30 days. You can buy multiple vouchers and stack so you're covered for the next 6, 9, 12, etc... years. Smilie

Yup just realized this as well. Paid $36 last go around and this last Black Friday don't think they had a deal for the 3 years plan. At this rate it's going to go up another $20 next to around. Never felt so upset about not getting the lifetime plan

Don't feel so bad, a lot of people here on Slickdeals believed the naysayers who freak out whenever something is lifetime "but it's the life of the company not you!" - it was still a great deal, and sad it's gone now. Windscribe actually did it the right way, sell a few lifetime unprofitable subs, get word of mouth, then sell only profitable subscriptions in the future. It just shows the company has a healthy business model.

Great VPN, but $300+ original price? Come on. Who are they kidding? The regular price on their website is $49 a year. Wish it was more around $30 for 3 years like it was in the past though. I would definitely renew.
