Take that with a grain of salt or not, but if you don't find them on the rating sites for "top VPNs of 2020, 2021, 2022 etc., I can tell you that it's not because they are not worth it.
Before the pandemic I would have to travel to about 9-12 countries per year, and Windscribe never let me down. Easy interface, quick and stable connection, and also no logs being kept.
I was lucky to get a lifetime a few years ago, and they have been getting better and better. Since that's not being offered anymore, this is a great deal imho.
Windscribe has worked great for me when I was in China and in Russia.

Not sure how strict they are today but I used one account on two different continent and never got any warning. However, the traffic was relatively low, was only used for streaming TV and browsing.
Some websites started to block their servers as well, Gamestop, Office Depot, Kohls.

Get a new router with WireGuard.
Edit: If you just want to stream and don't care about security, look into a SmartDNS solution, they let you bypass geo restrictions without needing a VPN at all. You can change the DNS resolvers in your router and are good-to-go.
