Meh...the cases have now shrunk by 20% and the prices are nowhere near the glory days of FAR paper. Only benefit is burning off ink cartridge rewards.

Staples calls this a carton of 8. I agree that the term case should be synonymous with 10 reams. OP used the term, not Staples. They have had many options on quantities of reams/pages sold together for years now. 3,5,8.10, oddballs like 250, 750, 1250 sheets, etc...
The 8 pack is not new. they had that back in the FAR days too.

I am surprised no one has posted the deal on HammerMill cases of 10 using coupon 10364 to get it down to $29.99 each, and then use the $20 off of $100 with 3 cases and $10.03+ of filler. Coupons do stack. Similar cost for HM paper.

whats good for $10 filler? $10 filler is alot for a filler if its useless

I kind of feel like there should be more recycling programs where you bring in your old electronics and waste supplies and could easily walk away with discounts that make paper between $1 per 500 page ream and free.

Really? That depends on your needs. I think that the Tootsie Rolls example given here is $5 of useless for me.

I suggest browsing their Deals tab and select Clearance if you need ideas. That is where I would start.
Or maybe you'd prefer simple: 2 bags of the Tootsie Rolls and a cheap pen?
Here is what I bought: 4 cases HM paper and no filler. I was too lazy to look for filler. Avg per ream goes up a tad, but nothing wasted at least.
