Standup mobile is offering 1 month of free service. With that service, you can choose to get a new phone number. I did that and was able to port out the number after a few days of service activation.
No credit card required for activation or porting out.
For porting out, need to contact customer service for account number and pin.

Great, but need to know what Network they use. Obviously if it is a T-Mobile MVNO it will not work for the current N10 Offer. I tried google which usually has an answer but did not, this time.

Is the Net 10 deal only for porting in?

Also, StandUp Wireless uses T-Mobile

Well, didnt take much time. Just place an order, like you did on ebay. And received the sim card in a few days. I used the 2gb data on a hotspot, and then ported the number out.

Nice. Meh for me though, despite that I need to switch over to a non-AT&T provider for a month, so I can switch back to AT&T Prepaid 1 year deal for $300.

The 2GB max plan is just too little.
